Our Story: A Vision of Creative Community in Phoenix
Aetheria Arts Collective was founded in 2018 by Elena Ramirez, a Phoenix native and passionate advocate for the arts. Elena envisioned a space where artists of all disciplines could come together to create, collaborate, and inspire each other. Frustrated by the lack of affordable studio spaces and supportive resources for artists in the area, she set out to build a collective that would address these needs and foster a thriving art community.
Starting with a small group of artists in a converted warehouse in the Roosevelt Row Arts District, Aetheria Arts Collective quickly grew into a dynamic hub for creative expression. The collective expanded its offerings to include workshops, classes, exhibitions, and a comprehensive range of services designed to support artists at every stage of their careers. Today, Aetheria Arts Collective is home to over 50 resident artists and serves hundreds of students and community members each year.
Our mission is to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment where artists can pursue their creative passions, develop their skills, and connect with a supportive network of peers. We are committed to promoting the arts in Phoenix and beyond, and to empowering artists to make a meaningful impact on their communities.
